Greg Van Allen - Solo Performer, Guitar and Vocals

I have established my solo show in the many venues around Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island and Georgetown, with a reputation of being a top-notch guitarist with smooth vocals, who is professional, easy to work with, able to hold a crowd, and have a loyal following. My songlist contains a wide selection of over one thousand classic rock, folk, blues and country hits, including "one hit wonders" from the 60s and 70s, songs that everyone knows, but perhaps haven't heard in awhile. Requests are always encouraged. My songlist is so large, regular patrons often experience a different show each week.

I use professional equipment in my show. I play hollow body electric jazz guitars for both smooth acoustic and electric sounds, and my main acoustic is my beloved Martin 000. A looping device allows me to play both rhythm and lead guitar. I play through a compact state-of-the-art Bose L1 sound system, which sounds amazing and enables even distribution of sound throughout the venue, at low levels appropriate for dining.
